Friends for Life - Fall 2003 Charity Auction
Friends for Life is planning a silent auction to benefit the family of Lance Dalton. Lance Dalton, treasurer of Friends for Life and a junior a the University of Florida, was diagnosed with cancer when he was 10 years old. Lance has Ewing's sarcoma, a cancerous bone tumor that develops during childhood. Since Lance was diagnosed, he has relapsed four times, with the most recent relapse occurring this past summer.
As you can imagine, the Dalton Family has incurred an exorbitant amount of medical expenses. Friends for Life would like to help Lance's family by sponsoring a silent auction. The auction will be held on Wednesday, October 29, on the Reitz Union Colonnade from 11am to 3pm in conjunction with the Health Fair. There will also be this online auction for people who cannot make it to the Colonnade on Wednesday. Please take some time to look through this auction and find the items you would like to bid on. Remember, all of the proceeds will go to benefit the Dalton Family.
